The Portal: VFX Workshop

Back in July, Cave House was amping up to get ready for anything that could go down for our 48 hour film project. Looking to refresh our knowledge of visual effects - we came up with this short, visual fx heavy concept.

I drew up the storyboards and we went off to the frisbee golf course where would make our digital stonehenge. I bought some tomato sticks from Lowe's which we used as a visual reference for the digital art. After shooting, we came back to the office and I gave a short demo on compositing - while Justin and Joe worked on the stonehenge 3d assets.

Roles
*Created storyboards of rough shot sequence and directed the project
*Brought together video and renders of 3d assets into Apple Shake for compositing, color correction and 2d visual effects
