Timebox - Music Video

Timebox was one of Cave House's first animation projects and is still one of our most ambitious. We came up with the concept of trying to show man trying to keep up in a world that is running faster than he could ever keep up with. We guerilla shot this in a couple of days up in DC. Then we spent the next couple of months developing a style of hand drawn rotoscoped animation mashed with filtered live action background and flat shaded 3d models.

Roles

*Developed the concept for the animation layers and how to achieve the effects
*Directed/shot video and edited the live action footage
*Rotoscoped the performance of the main actor using Adobe After FX
*Composited final layers of 3d cars, background plates, live action extras, and rotoscoped animation
