Shader Relight



Shader Relight is an approach to deferred rendering based on the Relight work of Michael Garrett.  It is an expression based system, that allows artists to define monolithic-shader type attributes per pixel based on matte channels.    With the advent of Blink Script in Nuke 8.0 I hope to re-work and optimize these nodes before publishing them to Nukepedia.





Stereo Conversion



The stereo conversion tools shown showcases the pipeline work done on Spy Kids 4 and Escape from Planet Earth.  The core aspect of the conversion was handled with a classic plate distorting approach.  I added tools to help artist's quickly determine convergence, control many nodes at once for multiple layers, and a mapped point cloud for disparity analysis.
